At the signing of the MOU, Tim Olson, CEO of Deca, stated:
[“We are delighted to partner with NanoPulse to provide advanced packaging solutions in high demand within North America. Mexico’s natural advantages were immediately clear to me: its proximity to the U.S., a growing pool of engineering graduates year-over-year, and a strong track record in high quality manufacturing. NanoPulse founders can leverage DECA technology and their extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing to deploy technology that is in high demand today. NanoPulse’s deep connections in the U.S. and Mexico, coupled with NanoPulse’s vast transactional capabilities in Private Equity and M&A, will allow NanoPulse to seamlessly navigate U.S. and Mexican waters”.]
Marcelo de Antuñano Aguirre, CEO of NanoPulse added:
“NanoPulse is excited to work with Deca to secure offtake agreements as soon as possible. This project will drive significant economic impact, creating well-paying jobs and positioning Mexico as a serious player as an OSAT in the semiconductor industry. With attractive onshoring advantages, semiconductor demand, and manufacturing tailwinds, we want potential clients to know that we are ready to serve their tailored needs while working in the same time zone, and assist in bringing capacity and technology fueled by the U.S.’ desire to re-shore semiconductor activities. I was very impressed by Deca’s team and technology, which made it easy to select them as our potential technology partner – we look forward to working with Tim’s team.”
